Jack Cudworth founded The Mentoring Project with a clear vision: to deliver transformative support for children and the professionals who care for them. With over 15 years of experience managing, leading, and directing children’s services and secure estates, Jack’s expertise is rooted in real-world practice and innovation.
At the core of Jack’s approach is a commitment to integrating the most effective care and mentoring models. Drawing on his extensive experience and insights, he has developed a unique and comprehensive support framework tailored to meet the diverse needs of children and young people.
Jack has worked with thousands of children at risk of exclusion, educated in Pupil Referral Units, or struggling with their Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH). His work is guided by first-hand insights from the young people he has supported, ensuring that every service he provides is relevant, empathetic, and impactful.
Beyond direct mentoring, Jack has played a key role in strategic initiatives, including contributing to the Violence Reduction Strategy for the West Midlands. By working collaboratively with young people and communities, Jack has helped to co-produce meaningful solutions that drive lasting change.
Jack also works closely with children’s services, offering consultancy and training to implement innovative strategies that enhance outcomes for young people across the sector. His deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, combined with his unwavering commitment to excellence, ensures that every aspect of his work meets the highest standards.
In addition to his professional achievements, Jack is the author of Inspiring and Informing the Future Generation, a work he considers one of the highlights of his career.
