At The Mentoring Project, we are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and those who care for them. Founded on the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, our mission is twofold: to provide exceptional training for professionals in children’s services and to offer supportive mentoring for young people. With a dedicated team of experts, we aim to equip staff with the tools they need to provide the highest standard of care and support, while helping children develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.
Our training programmes are carefully designed to meet the evolving needs of children's services. We understand that working with children requires not only knowledge but also empathy, patience, and dedication. That’s why our courses are both practical and insightful, offering staff a deep understanding of child development, safeguarding practices, and how to create inclusive environments that empower young people. Our trainers bring years of experience in the field and a commitment to fostering positive change in every training session.
Alongside our staff training, we also run a mentoring service that focuses on the individual needs of children. We provide one-on-one or group support, offering guidance and encouragement to help children navigate life's challenges, develop essential life skills, and build their self-esteem. Our mentors are carefully selected for their experience, compassion, and ability to connect with children, making a lasting impact on the young people they work with.
At The Mentoring Project, we are committed to creating a positive, supportive environment for both children and professionals. By investing in the development of those who work with children and the children themselves, we aim to create a brighter future for all.
